The Basilica of the Heart of Catalonia presents the guided tours “Summer evenings at the Seu of Manresa” which will take place on the 16th, 28th, 29th and 30th of July from 7.30 pm to 8.45 pm.
These visits are very special and they begin at a very magical time of the day: when the temple closes its doors and silence reigns. Visitors will tour the cloister, enter the central nave of the basilica where they will see how the stained glass windows and rose windows change color with the evening light and, finally, they will be able to climb the 69 stairs that lead to the first roof of the basilica from where they will enjoy privileged views of the city just as the sun begins to set.
A guide will accompany the journey and explain the origin of the Gothic temple and its architecture, describing the most outstanding architectural elements, will emphasize the relevance of works of the basilica as the altarpiece of the Holy Spirit (Pere Serra, 1394) and will discover details of the buttresses and stained glass windows from the first roof of the equipment .
