The chamber vocal ensemble Vokalensemble Tübingen, from this small university city in the south-west of Germany, will offer a concert at the Basílica de la Seu de Manresa on Friday, June 2, at eight in the evening.
The group, under the direction of Marcel Martínez and accompanied on the organ by Maris Bietags, will perform, under the title “Cantate Domino”, a program of Germanic sacred music that, apart from the motet Singet dem Herrn, BWV 225 by Johann Sebastian Bach, it includes works by Johann Hermann Schein, Joseph Gabriel Rheinberger or Felix Mendelssohn, among others.
Admission to the concert is free, with a voluntary contribution.
