As part of the celebration of Saint Cecilia, patron saint of music, and the ‘Let’s restore the organ of the heart of Catalonia’ campaign, the Orfeó Manresà will offer the concert ‘Pleniluni de novembre. The Orfeó sings Toldrà‘.
The event will take place on Friday 26th of November at 8.30 pm in the central nave of the Basilica and aims to continue raising funds to restore the organ of the heart of Catalonia, which is at Carlos M. Álvarez’s Workshop since last December.
The concert program consists of five songs composed by Toldrà and harmonized by Jordi Domènech, with piano accompaniment by Joel Diaz. The program will be completed with two works by Mompou sung by soprano Marta Vilella.
The price of the ticket + donation for the restoration will be € 10. Tickets will be abailable from 8pm at the door of the Basilica.
