One of the most beautiful days of the year is celebrated in Catalonia on April the 23rd: St. George’s Day. This year it will be even more special than ever as the pandemic restrictions are relatively relaxed.
From the basilica we want you to come and complete this day of culture with a visit to the historical and artistic heritage of the city. That’s why we’ll be offering free admission to everyone who comes to the temple with a rose. So, after strolling along Passeig Pere III, looking at and buying books and roses at the stalls in Sant Domènech Square and tasting the first ice creams, you can extend your day by heading to the Basilica of the Heart of Catalonia.
Here you’ll find the opening hours of the temple.
