International Day of Museums 2023

International Day of Museums 2023 1774 657 Seu de Manresa

Once again, the Seu of Manresa joins the International Day of Museums which is celebrated between 13 and 21 May. This year’s theme is “Museums, sustainability and well-being” and aims to reflect on the contribution of these facilities to the well-being and sustainable development of our communities; from supporting climate action and promoting inclusion, to fighting social isolation and improving mental health.

The Manresa Museum network will once more participate in the celebration of this International Museum Day with a set of proposals promoted by Manresa City Council and with the collaboration of all the city’s museum facilities: the Museum of Manresa, the Technical Museum of Manresa, the Valentí Masachs Museum of Geology, the Carrer del Balç Interpretation Center, the Espai 1522, the Sanctuary of la Cova and the Basilica of Santa Maria de la Seu de Manresa.
