On Saturday 3rd of October 2020 at 8.30 pm Harmonia Virtute will offer the AccordCello concert in the basilica.
All the profits from the event will go to the “Para los valientes” project at the Sant Joan de Déu children’s cancer center.
The concert is a duet formed by accordionist Marc Jiménez and cellist Edmon Bosch. Jiménez graduated from the Cervera Conservatory and is currently studying the Higher Degree in Music at the ESMUC. Bosch completed his higher studies at the International Academy of Music in Barcelona and graduated from the Higher School of Music in Kazan, Russia.
The program consists of a very diverse repertoire, which includes from pieces by Schumann to traditional Catalan songs:
